Macedonia launches construction of Bosava water supply system.

The construction of Bosava water supply system in Kavadarci has been launched, a release on the website of the government informs. The investment is worth over EUR 13mn and will be implemented under the public-private partnership model. The partners include the public water management enterprise Tikves, the municipalities of Kavadarci and Rosoman, as well as the Slovenian company Turboinstitut. The project will raise the drinking water capacity in the two municipalities and will provide water for irrigation. It also envisages the construction of five small hydropower plants with a maximum installed capacity of 10.8 MW. Turboinstitut executive Vladimir Kercan said that the project will be implemented by the end of this year.
