Macedonia boosts economic cooperation with Russia.

Macedonia registers improved economic cooperation with Russia, the director of the Macedonian-Russian Economic Chamber Dejan Besliev said in an interview for ITAR-TASS, quoted by MIA Daily News. The trade exchange between the two countries has reached USD 600mn in the first nine months of the year, reversing the contraction registered in the first two years of the economic crisis. Macedonia has achieved significant progress in improving the investment environment in the country, Besliev noted. Encouraging new investors to consider implementation of projects in Macedonia is one of the aims of the economic chamber. There have been successful economic relations between the two countries built on cooperation in the field of tourism, wine and agriculture sector, energy and industrial production, Besliev added.
