LV: S&P increases Latvian rating to BB+.

Rating agency Standard & Poors have increased Latvian sovereign long term local and foreign currency debt rating from BB to BB+, with keeping the outlook as stable. Latvian Ministry of Finance indicated that it is a significant act of appreciation of the Latvian policies, and confirmation to the investors that the economy is improving. Frank Gill, credit analyst at S&P indicated that there were improvements in Latvian current account. S&P indicated that there was exceptional flexibility of the economy demonstrated and the exports markets are recovering improving the economic situation on the whole.
