LV: Latvian State Forests, Tele2 and Lattelecom top earners in 2009-survey.

According to the survey compiled by Dienas Bizness newspaper, Latvijas Valsts Mezi (Latvian State Forests) state forestry agency made a net profit of LVL 33.21mn (down by 33% y/y) in 2009, topping the rankings of Latvian companies in terms of net profit for last year. LVM was followed by Tele2 mobile telephony provider with LVL 30mn profit (down by 19.2% y/y) and Lattelecom fixed-line provided with LVL 28.8mn in net profit (down by 13.3% y/y). LMT mobile provider that topped the list in 2008 went to the 4th place last year (LVL 26.2mn, down by 55.4%). It is noted that there wasn't a single manufacturer in the ranking for last year.
