LV: Latvian gasoline imports down by 1% y/y in H1.

Latvian total gasoline imports declined by 1% y/y and amounted to 159.7mn litres in H1, Statistics Latvia indicates. Diesel fuel imports increased by 4.4% y/y in H1 and amounted to 397,300 tons of diesel. Value of gasoline imports stood at LVL 60.8mn (EUR 86.5mn) in H1, 27.7% y/y increase. Diesel fuel imports amounted to LVL 190.9mn in H1, 39.9% y/y increase. In H1 Latvia imported 9,100 tons of fuel oil, which indicates a decline of 35% y/y. In 2010 Latvia imported total of 336.0mn litres of gasoline, and 760,600 tons of diesel fuel.
