LV: Latvian construction market declines most in EU in Q1.

Latvian construction market indicated a decline of 43.4% y/y in Q1, which is the biggest drop in the EU, Eurostat announced. Construction output in Lithuania declined by 42.9% y/y in Q1, while in Bulgaria construction output declined by 25.9% y/y. Construction output declined by 6.5% y/y in the EU, and by 9.6% y/y in the eurozone countries. Sweden and Great Britain were the only countries posting an increase in construction volumes in Q1.
