LV: airBaltic passenger turnover up by 25% y/y in Jan-Mar.

According to the announcement made by company representatives, airBaltic airline transported a total of 0.624mn passengers in the first three months of 2010, which makes a 25% y/y increase. In March alone, passenger turnover increased by 36% y/y to 0.238mn passengers, while number of passengers served from Riga Airport went up by 39%. airBaltic operated 4,155 flights in March (27% y/y increase). Cabin occupancy rate stood at 66% in March, up by 4pps y/y. Last year company's passenger turnover amounted to 2.76mn passengers, which made about a 6% y/y increase.
