LV: 70% see their future in Latvia.

A survey by TNSB pollster shows that 70% of Latvian economically active residents tie their future to the homeland. Out of that, 31% were definite they are going to continue living in Latvia and 39% were inclined to do so. Meanwhile, 16% of the respondents said their future was not connected to Latvia. At the same time head of State Employment Agency Baiba Pasevica commented that residents typically seek employment abroad only after they fail to find a job in Latvia. Germany, Norway, the UK, Finland and Sweden are the most popular countries among Latvian job seekers.
