LT: Lithuanian Railways post net profit of EUR 17.5mn in 2010.

Lietuvos Gelezinkeliai (Lithuanian Railways) posted net profit of LTL 60.44mn (EUR 17.5mn) in 2010. This made a 4.6-fold y/y increase. Companys revenues increased by 13% y/y to LVL 1.34bn. This year Lithuanian Railways sees revenues of LTL 1.37bn and freight turnover declining by 2.3% to 47mn tons (estimated of 48.1mn tons in 2010). Company is fully owned by the state.
