LT: Lithuanian airports passenger traffic up by 20.7% y/y in Jan-Oct.

Lithuanian airports handled total number of 2.7mn passengers in Jan-Oct, up by 20.7% y/y, Statistics Lithuania indicates. 22.6% of all passengers were travelling to the UK, 10.9% to Germany, 6.9% to Latvia, and 5.9% to Denmark. UK direction grew traffic by 37.3% y/y, Germany routes increased by 16.5% y/y, and Denmark route grew by 10.0% y/y. 91.3% of all passengers were travelling on regular flights. In Jan-Oct, total of 11,600 tonnes were unloaded in the airport, up by 7.2% y/y. Number of flights in Jan-Oct, amounted to 35,700, up by 7.5% y/y. Lithuanian airlines carried total of 0.5mn passengers, up by 31.3% y/y. In October alone total number of passengers amounted to 0.3mn, down by 5.7% y/y.
