LT: Lithuania has highest smartphone usage rates in Baltics.

A survey conducted by GfK Custom Research Baltics, shows that 53% of all Lithuanians indicated that they are using smartphones. For comparison in Estonia the figure stood at 49% and in Latvia only at 41%. 84% of Lithuanians were using a non-smart phone, while in Latvia it stood at 81% and 75% in Estonia. Usage of non-smart phones was highest among people over 45 years old, while smartphones were dominating among consumers younger than 34 years old, and more frequently men. In Estonia laptop usage stood at 77%, while in Lithuania it stood at 72%, and in Latvia at 68%. Tablet usage stood at 10% in Estonia, at 8% in Latvia, and 6% in Lithuania. 872 people were surveyed in August in Lithuania, 1,006 people surveyed in Latvia, and 1,022 people surveyed in Estonia.
