The total industrial turnover index increased by 33.6% on the year in November, accelerating from 20.3% y/y in October, according to data of the statistics office. The industrial turnover indices compare aggregated turnover values in current prices. In November, domestic turnover, with a share of 44.1% in total turnover, rose by 33.1% y/y and non-domestic turnover, accounting for 55.9% of the total, expanded by 33.9%. Turnover in mining dropped by 12% on the year, while the index for manufacturing rose by 36.2%. The more detailed breakdown shows that turnover in the group energy increased by 61.4% y/y in November, turnover in intermediate goods except energy grew by 12.6%, and turnover in capital goods soared 2.7 times on the year. Turnover in the groups durable consumer goods and non-durable consumer goods rose by 82.4% and 10.7% y/y, respectively. The industrial turnover index has increased by 25.5% y/y in Jan-Nov. |
