Industrial park projects for EUR 26mn to be implemented in north-eastern Hungary.

Projects for the construction of four industrial park have been launched in the north-eastern part of the country, according to information from the involved municipalities. Aggregate investment costs for the four parks were estimated at HUF 7bn (EUR 26mn). The largest of them would cost HUF 4.4bn and should serve as premises for the EUR 650mn plant of Ukrainian Vorskla Steel. Its construction is to be completed by the end of the year and would create 1,000 jobs. Two of the other parks would cost HUF 1bn each and the third one HUF 600mn. A German company for pre-fabricated houses was interested in purchasing a production hall at one of the HUF 1bn parks. The other one would be located on an area of 26ha and would have capacity to house 27-30 investors.
