Industrial output increased 5.85% y/y in November.

Taiwan's industrial output increased 5.85% y/y in November this year, as compared to the growth of 4.84% y/y registered in October. As reported by Dow Jones Chinese Financial Wire, the country's industrial output increased during the period, boosted by orders for components from smartphone, tablet as well as panel makers ahead of the year-end holiday season. The country is a major producer of semiconductors, personal computers as well as flat panels.
