Hungary's March broadband subscriptions up by 0.4% m/m.

The number of broadband ADSL and cable subscriptions remained again almost flat on the month, inching up by 0.4% or by 8,000 to 1.967mn in March, the communications watchdog reported. There was no change in the tendencies observed since the beginning of the year, as the number of broadband ADSL lines inched down by 0.18% m/m to 802,711. The number of broadband cable subscriptions on the other hand were slightly up although at a decelerating pace of 0.7% m/m or by 5,453 to 764,704. The number of optical cable subscriptions stood at 227,928 at the end of the month, up by 1.4% m/m.
