By bne IntelliNews July 6, 2010
The ministries of health of Albania and Serbia will sign today a memorandum of understanding in the field of medical services, Serbian media reported. The accord will be inked by health minister Petrit Vasili, who is on a two-day visit to Belgrade. The Albanian delegation will also hold discussions with experts from the Serbian Public Health Institute. Furthermore, Vasili is expected to visit the headquarters of Serbian pharmaceutical company Galenika. We remind that the foreign ministries of the two countries launched in June a round of diplomatic consultations in an attempt to strengthen political and economic ties. Along with the healthcare policy, the main fields of mutual interests include energy, infrastructure, transport, tourism, agriculture, education and science.
