German Praktiker to close stores in Turkey.

Armin Burger, CEO of Germany-based do-it-yourself chain Praktiker, announced that the company decided to close its all nine stores in Turkey and to halt its operations in the country after Praktiker Turkey was filed for managed insolvency proceedings with an Istanbul court. Praktiker tried to sell its stores in the country, however, it did not receive any economically acceptable offer, according to Burger.
