Gazprom interested in power assets in Bulgaria, other EU countries.

Russias gas major Gazprom is interested in the acquisition of power assets in Bulgaria, the UK, Germany, and the Benelux countries, according to information of Reuters. The Russians have shortlisted some 10 projects and will present three or four projects to the board of directors by the end of this year. Gazprom is interested both in the acquisition of existing plant and the construction of new power generators.
