Foreign vessels on cruise in Croatia down 3% y/y in Jan-Sep.

The number of foreign vessels, which made cruises in Croatia, went down 3% on the year to 643 in January-September, the statistics office reported. The number of arriving passengers rose 2.1% on the year to 919,867. They spent 1,183 days in the country, down an annual 12.4%. In September alone, the foreign vessels carried out 125 cruises, down 8.8% on the year. The number of passenger arrivals inched down by an annual 0.8% to 173,333.
