As announced by FinMin Alexei Kudrin, Russia and USA successfully agreed on all the issues regarding Russia's accession to World Trade Organisation. Kudrin stressed that the initial goal of closing the issue by the end of September 2010 that what set by the presidents of US and Russia was thus reached. Currently a special working group is continuing to work on the accession in Gen'sve, he added. Kudrin estimated that the procedure of Russia's accession to the organisation is going to start in 3-4 months, while it may take up to a year until the final WTO membership. To remind, Russia remains the only major economy in the world without a WTO membership, which is negotiated for 15 years already. The toughest negotiations were held with EU, China and USA (with the latter for the past six years).
