Eurostat: Poland is EU's third-largest cereal producer.

Based on the average production for 2008-2010, France (23% of the EU27 total) was the largest producer of cereals, followed by Germany (16%), Poland (10%), the United Kingdom (8%), Spain (7%), according to the data of the EU's stats office Eurostat. On average, the EU27 produced around 300 million tonnes of cereals per year over the period 2008-2010. Poland is also the fifth-biggest producer of cheese, with 0.7mn tonnes, or 7% of the EU27 total, Eurostat also reported. Its is also the fourth-biggest (together with Denmark) producer of pig meat, with 1.7mn tonnes, or 8% of the EU27 total.
