EU supports project to strengthen capacity of Albania's financial regulator.

Albania has launched an EU-backed project aimed at strengthening the administrative capacity of the Albanian Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA), the regulator informed in a statement. The EU experts have consulted employees of the FSA on the current European legislation and approximation of Albanian legislation with EU directives. The EU will organise four other training missions for Albanian experts in 2013 with the purpose to strengthen FSAs regulatory capacity.
