EE: Ports of Estonia cargo volume down by 23.4% y/y in October.

Estonian ports handled total 3.0mn tonnes of cargo in October, down by 23.4% y/y, Statistics Estonia indicates. Cargo handling volume has declined by 11% m/m during the month. In October 2.1mn tonnes of cargo were loaded on ships, down by 25% y/y, and 0.9mn tonnes were unloaded, down by 20% y/y. Loading declined by 16% m/m, and unloading increased by 4% m/m. In Jan-Oct period total loading volume amounted to 25.7mn tonnes, down by 12.9% y/y, while unloading volume amounted to 9.9mn tonnes, down by 7.5% y/y.
