EE: Estonian ports cargo volume up by 13% y/y in July.

Estonian ports recorded total cargo volume of 3.9mn tons, which indicates increase of 13% y/y in July. In July the total volume has been higher than in July 2008. In the ports loading amounted to 2.8mn tons, up by 20% y/y. Ain Kaljurand, CEO of port of Tallinn, indicated that the port's cargo volumes increased by 17% y/y in Jan-Jul, which means that most of the growth comes from the Port of Tallinn. Estonian Railways has carried total of 2.2mn tons of freight in July, which indicates 13% y/y increase.
