EE: Estonian Air passengers traffic up by 41.3% y/y in September.

Estonian national airline Estonian Air recorded total passengers traffic at 83,874 passengers in September, which indicates 41.3% y/y increase in the figure. Load factor in September amounted to 72.6%. In Jan-Sep period total number of passengers amounted to 687,427 passengers, up by 71% y/y. Estonian Air operated 14,964 flights in Jan-Sep period, up by 71.5% y/y. In September alone the company operated 1,828 flights, which is 59.5% y/y increase. Rauno Parras, head of commerce at Estonian Air, indicated that transit passengers accounted for 30% of total figure, and it was one of the key drivers in passengers growth. Estonian Air currently flies to 22 destinations in Europe, and the CIS.
