EE: Estonia ranks 14th in Economic Freedom index.

Estonia is ranked 14th in the annual Economic Freedom Index compiled by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal. Last year Estonia was ranked 16th. Latvia lost six places in the rankings, scoring 56th, while Lithuania went up five positions to 24th place. The index is being compiled based on 50 various indicators, such as freedom from corruption, protection of intellectual property, freedom of trade, fiscal freedom, entrepreneurial freedom, regulation of the labour market and investment freedom. Long-time leaders of the index remain Honk Kong, Singapore and Australia.
