EE: Estonia needs to continue fiscal policy, tackle unemployment-EC.

By bne IntelliNews September 21, 2010
As argued by the EC commissioner for economic and monetary affairs Olli Rehn during his visit to Tallinn, Estonia needs to stick to its tight fiscal policy and tackle unemployment. He urged to bridge the gap between workforce's skills and the needs of the economy, in order to ensure productivity growth through active labour market policies and educational efforts. Rehn praised Estonia's budget consolidation efforts and stressed the importance of avoiding abnormal price increases upon euro adoption next year.
