EE: Estonia absorbs 99% of EU funds in 2004-2006.

In 2004-2006 Estonia absorbed EEK 5.76bn of EU structural fund finance, FinMin reported. In the respective period EC allocated EEK 5.8bn (EUR 371mn) to Estonia, thus funds absorbed amounted for 99.2% of total. Report shows that with the funds 13,170 new funds were created, 1,886 businesses supported and 95km of roads were built and reconstructed. Also, 835 new companies were created by utilizing the funds.
