Cyprus starts offshore drilling despite Turkeys warnings.

US company Noble has started drilling activities for oil and natural gas off Cyprus southern coasts despite warnings from the Turkish government. PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan says that Turkey will too start offshore drilling within Turkeys exclusive economic zone shortly, probably this week. Erdogan also says that the zone will be under the surveillance of Turkish navy and air force. Local daily Sabah speculates that the region, where Cyprus starts drilling, holds total of 15trillion m3 of natural gas reserves.
