Croatian Dalekovod win EUR 20mn power line construction deal in Norway.

Croatian construction company Dalekovod signed a EUR 20mn contract with the Norwegian state transmission system operator Statnett on the construction of a 420kV power grid Sima Samnanger. The construction works of the 90km power line will start on October 1, but no information about a deadline was provided. The construction consists of civil engineering works, erection of steel-lattice towers, and electrical installation works. The aim of the construction works is to increase the capacity of the electricity transmission and the reliability of customer supply for the region. Dalekovod's net loss amounted to HRK 2.3mn (EUR 0.3mn) in H1 after a net profit of HRK 754.4mn a year ago. The total revenues dropped significantly by 66.3% y/y to HRK 14.8mn in H1, while the total expenses went down by 60.4% y/y to HRK 17mn.
