Croatian banks aggregate profit up by 23.7% y/y in Jan-May.

The aggregate profit of the Croatian commercial banks surged by 23.7% y/y to HRK 1.9bn in Jan-May, preliminary central bank data showed. The bank assets increased by 6.3% y/y to HRK 398.1bn as at end-May, accounting for 114.1% of the projected full-year GDP in our calculations, versus 112% a year ago.
