Croatia's number of passenger arrivals up by 4.6% y/y in June.

The passenger arrivals in Croatia from abroad rose by 4.6% y/y to 6,918 in June, while departures went up by 2.5% y/y to 6,478, the statistics office reported. Within the cross-border traffic of passengers at railway border crossings, the number of arrivals increased by 12.8% y/y and of departures - by 15.6% y/y. The road border crossings reported that the traffic of passengers inched up by 4.3% y/y in terms of arrivals and increased by 2.1% y/y in terms of departures, while the air border crossing stepped up by 10.7% y/y in terms of arrivals and by 9.7% y/y in terms of departures. Meanwhile, the number of maritime border crossings of passengers increased by 2.5% y/y in terms of arrivals and by 0.7% y/y in terms of departures. The number of passenger vehicles, which arrived in the country at border crossings, went up by 6.3% y/y in June and the number of departing passenger vehicles rose by 3.5% y/y.
