Cement, clinker sales volume of Holcim Romania down 1% y/y in H1 2012.

Holcim Romanias clinker and cement volumes dropped 1% on the year in H1, according to information published by the Swiss parent. Cement prices grew 1.2% y/y in Romania over the period. In H1, domestic aggregates prices and volumes increased by 14.3% y/y and 19.8% y/y, respectively. Holcim Romanias assets include, among others, three cement plants with a combined production capacity of 6.1mn tonnes of cement. The company has 1,073 employees.
