Bosnias Energoinvest to sign EUR 33mn power transmission line deal in Albania.

Bosnian engineering firm Energoinvest and Albania's electricity transmission operator OST will sign on Thursday, Jan 31, a EUR 33mn deal for the construction of a power transmission line in southern Albania, daily Dnevni Avaz reported. The contract includes the construction of Lot 2 of the 110 kV OHL South Albania line, which will be financed by a loan from Germanys KfW. The deal will be signed in Tirana, where Bosnias Federation PM Nermin Nikic and Energoinvest executives arrived on a visit earlier this week. They met with Albanian PM Sali Berisha on Jan 30 and after the meeting Berisha pointed out that the two countries should accelerate their cooperation in the areas of agriculture, tourism and especially in the energy sector construction.
