Albanias Plus Communications says subscribers reach 0.3mn.

Plus Communications, Albanias youngest mobile operator, has attracted 0.3mn subscribers for nine months of operations on the local market, news portal Infoalbania reported. The company has officially launched operations on November 27, when it opened a technology centre in Tirana. Plus has invested EUR 35mn to build its network, which now covers the entire countrys territory. Albanian mobile markte is dominated by Greek AMC and UKs Vodafone, while Turkish-owned Eagle Mobile has a smaller market share. Plus was established by Kosovos Post-Telecom (PTK) and a group of local investors in June 2009, after winning a 15-year mobile license.
