Albanian transport minister Sokol Olldashi and the economy minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sultan Al Mansouri, signed on Wednesday a mutual agreement on air services, ATA news agency reported. The accord was initially signed by the civil aviation authorities of the two countries back in February 2011. The so-called Open Skies agreement opens the way for scheduled air services between the two countries as well as for unrestricted non-scheduled flights. The UAE earlier nominated five airlines, which could perform fights under the agreement - Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, RAK Airways and FlyDubai. Albania designated two air carriers - Albanian Airlines and BelleAir.
