Albania to strengthen economic ties with Malta.

The governments of Albanian and Malta need to strengthen economic co-operation in the field of energy and tourism, ATA news agency cited a joint statement of economy minister Nasip Naco and deputy PM and foreign minister of Malta, Tonio Borg. The two officials agreed bilateral ties should be intensified through the promotion of collaboration between the chambers of commerce, organisation of economic forums and trade fairs and promotion of projects of common interest. Borg highlighted that Maltese investors have particular interest to launch projects in some sector of the Albanian economy, especially in development of natural resources.
