Albania to strengthen economic ties with Kuwait.

The governments of Albania and Kuwait express readiness to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries. This issue has been discussed in a meeting of PM Sali Berisha with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah in Kuwait City . The two state officials considered very positive the current economic relations and discussed opportunities for further expansion. PM Berisha pledged full state support for the facilitation of Kuwaiti investments in Albania . Meanwhile respective government members signed collaboration agreement in the field of preventing double taxation and tax evasion. The two counties will also implement a mid-term executive program on tourism cooperation, while third agreement on civil aviation service has also been approved. The latter will result in the establishment of a direct airline between Tirana and the Kuwaiti capital city. Albania and Kuwait will also open embassies in the respective capitals, which will further foster trade exchanges and economic development.
