Albania to introduce digital broadcasting in June 2015.

The Albanian government has adopted a strategy for the development of digital transmission services in the country, the cabinet said in a statement after its latest meeting. Under the plan, digital broadcasting will fully replace analogue transmission throughout the country as of June 2015. The document outlines the objectives and principles of digital switchover, while determining the appropriate role of state administration structures in this process.
