Albania to apply for EUR 100mn financing with EBRD, EIB.

The Albanian government plans to apply for a EUR 100mn financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) to invest in the reconstruction of secondary roads, the EBRD said on its website. The project, to be jointly financed by the EBRD, the EIB and the Albanian government, is aimed at improving access to essential services and economic markets, via the provision of all weather roads, for the resident population in the hinterland of the project roads.
