Albania, Montenegro to strengthen economic cooperation.

The governments of Albania and Montenegro are committed to strengthening economic ties between the two countries, reads a joint statement of PM Sali Berisha and Montenegrin minister of foreign affairs and EU integration, Milan Rocen. The two state officials met during Rocen's visit to Albania and discussed the importance of joint projects, such as the 400 kV power line between Tirana and Podgorica, the dredging of the Buna river, the completion of road infrastructure between two countries as well as projects in the fields of science and culture. The expansion of cooperation in the field of tourism is of specific interest for the two Balkan states.
