Albania finalises EUR 1mn project on EU finds management.

Albanian central administration has completed a EUR 1mn project on the management of EU funds, the EU delegation informed. The project, co-financed by the Union, aims at enhancing the capacities of the relevant institutions, especially when dealing with Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA). As noted, Albania has an access to EUR 200mn financing under this instrument for the period 2008-2010. Decentralised management of IPA funds will be supported through another EU project, worth EUR 1.35mn.
