AHK survey: 95% of investors sees Poland worth launching business.

Foreign investors have positive opinions about investing in Poland and if they were to choose again the place for their investments, 95% of them indicated Poland as the location, it transpires from the survey made by the German-Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK). Simultaneously, the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) announced that 81% of foreign investors of CEE region were pleased with their business locations. Poland was seen as a leading country for starting the business, followed by Slovakia and Romania. The condition of the Polish economy is also assessed very positively and the country has good development perspectives, i.e. 48% of respondents deems condition of the Polish economy is better than a year ago. The surveyed investors complained mostly about taxes levels in Poland and the ineffectiveness of the tax administration. PAIiIZ's president Slawomir Majman added that the agency now carried out 148 investments projects, worth of EUR 5.2bn, which may bring over 36800 new jobs.
