Two Czech restaurants in Prague, La Degustation Boheme Bourgeoise and Field successfully retained their Michelin star in 2019, remaining the only restaurants in the Czech Republic with this award, according to Michelin gastronomic guide for Europe (Main Cities of Europe 2019) published on March 27, online iRozhlas.cz reported. The number of evaluated restaurants decreased to 31 from 33 year-on-year.

“We have managed to defend the Michelin star for the third time. Every defence is difficult, and we will do our best to get better. We greatly appreciate the team working for Field, because without their hard work, the star would not be received,” said the Field Manager Radek Kasparek.

Allegro Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel and its chef Andrea Accordi boasted the very first Michelin star in Prague in 2008.
