Listed home appliances maker Zelmer expects a revival of sales on the Polish market in H2/2011 after a period of stabilisation, the firm's CEO Janusz Plocicca has announced. Thus, the firm's low growth dynamics on the domestic market could be improved. At the same time, though, Zelmer counts on further high dynamics in Russia and Ukraine. Currently, the Polish market is responsible for 50% of Zelmer's revenue, Russia - 20 and Ukraine - 14%. In the next few years, the Russian market could become the firm's biggest revenue contributor, Plocica stressed. As for market shares, Zelmer has over 20% of the Polish market and 9.6% of the Ukrainian market - while it wants to exceed the 10% mark there. Zelmer plans to increase its sales by 11% this year from PLN 638.71mn (EUR 161.28mn) in 2010 and by 23% in 2012 (compared to the 2010 level). The EBITDA result is to rise by 16% and 32%, respectively, from last year's PLN 66.40mn (EUR 16.77mn). ISB, tom |
