Zain makes it to top 20 in East and Central Africa Super Brands club

Telecoms providerZain has joined the Super Brands elite club after emerging the only cell-phoneoperator in the top 20 brands in East and Central Africa.It was placed 15 out of the 2,285 brands surveyed by the Nairobi-based TNSResearch International team. The results ranked the company best telecom brandin East and Central Africa, beating other leading telecom service providers -Tanzania's Vodacom and Tigo, positioned at 86 and 94 respectively, MTN 88,Kenya's Safaricom 46 and Uganda Telecom 208. Zain will now compete with theregions top Super Brands including Nokia, Blue Band, Omo, Coca Cola andColgate for overall first prize.
