Vodafone Turkey increases subscribers 18% to 18.9mn last year.

Vodafone Turkey increased its number of subscribers by 18.4% y/y to 18.9mn in October-December 2012, the second quarter of 2012-13 fiscal year. The company also increased its APU by 10.2% to TRY 21.8 (EUR 9.2) in the quarter. Please note that the company posted a turnover of TRY 2.685mn (EUR 1.1bn) and an EBITDA of TRY 454mn in the first half of fiscal year of 2012-2013 (April 2012- September 2012). As a final note, Vodafone Turkey increased the number of its customers to 18.7mn, adding 900,000 customers to its base in the first half of 2011-2012 financial year (April-September).
