UPC Broadband Slovakia raised clients number to 384,000 at end-Sept 2011.

Slovak provider of TV, broadband Internet and telephony services UPC Broadband Slovakia said its customers rose by 22,900 y/y to 383,800 at the end of September 2011, SITA news agency reported. The company registered 8,600 new customers in the third quarter alone. A total of 484,900 households have access to UPC Broadband Slovakias services. The number of TV services users decreased by 2,500 on the year to 258,600. Internet clients rose by 14,200 to 81,100 and customers using fixed-line telephony services increased by 11,200 to 43,100. UPC Broadband Slovakiaia, which provides television, Internet and telephony services through a single cable network, is part of Liberty Global, Inc., a leading international cable service provider offering television services, voice services and high-speed Internet access.
