UniCredit eyes acquisition opportunities in Turkey.

CEO of Italys UniCredit, Federico Ghizzoni, says that UniCredit is ready for acquisitions in Turkey, without providing details. In February, head of UniCredits CEE banking division, Gianni Papa, said that the lender would pay special attention to its engine of growth countries in the region, including Turkey. UniCredit currently holds a stake in local lender Yapi Kredi Bankasi.
