Ukraine to attract USD 500mn loan to develop aircraft construction industry.

Ukraine intends to attract USD 500mn loan for 3-4 years to expand the domestic aircraft construction sector, Antonov SE president and chief designer Dmytro Kiva has said. According to Kiva, there are several foreign financial institutions willing to provide the loan. The company intends to use funds to purchase a large batch of materials, components, engines. Dmytro Kiva hopes to attract the loans at 7-8% for three or four years. The pledge will be the existing contracts.
